The October 2023 cafecito included families creating art that was inspired by Mexican Folk-Art and reflective of their cultural traditions. The activities included creating - cempasúchil – paper flowers and a glittery papel picado inspired design. The art created in the two activities was later integrated into the school’s Dia de los Muertos ofrenda and included in Muertos Fest, the country’s largest Day of the Dead celebration.
